3. How can you save me money on my apartment?
There are several ways that using our service can save you money.
1. Apartments are always offering specials. They will always give you these specials when you come in... however, they don't always tell you everything. We know exactly what to ask to make sure that they are giving us the lowest possible scenerio.
2. When we call an apartment to get you a special, they know we are searching numerous places for the best deal. They also know that if they do not have the best deal, that they will not hear from us again. Their best course of action is to do everything they can to get us to recommend their complex to you! This gets the complex working for you, instead of against you
3. We spend HOURS a day on the phone with properties, not to mention the hours we have spent at the properties. We have built strong relationships with the leasing agents and management at the apartment communities. Our relationships work to your benefit to provide you the lowest possible specials.
4. Can't I just do this on my own?
Sure you can. But why? We are experts. There are over 3,000 apartment complexes in the DFW Metroplex. I doubt you have the time to go look at all of them. With the price of gas today, it seems silly to spend time going to apartments that aren't going to work for you. When you tell us what you are looking for, we will quickly give you the top options, so you don't have to sort through properties that don't match your needs. 50% of our clients lease at the first apartment that they visit.
5. What if I have bad credit? a criminal history? a large pet?
All three of those situations will dramatically reduce the number of apartments that will work with you. All the more reason that you need knowledgable people working your behalf to find you a home. There are apartments out there that will work with all of these situations, let us show you which ones will. On that note, it is very important for us to know right off the bat if you are in one of these situations. Because just a limited number of apartments will work with these circumstances, we need to know who to call to find you the perfect place. Just remember, there are always options out there, and we are trained to find them.
6. How does Citiland get paid?
As mentioned above, we are paid by the apartment complexes. All you need to do is let them know on your first visit that you are working with Citiland Apartment Locators. They will either have you fill out, or ask you questions from their "guest card." One of the questions will be "how did you hear about us?" Just mention Citiland Apartment Locators. Also, when you are filling out your application, there will be a place that asks "How did you hear about us," please jot down Citiland Apartment Locators. If we have spent any time with you, please remember to do this. This is the only way that we get paid for our work, and the only way that you will receive your cash rebate
7. How do I get paid?
After you fill out an application at the apartment, you must tell us. You can do this by visiting the collect payment page and filling out the form. You MUST do this to receive payment. After you move in, and we have verified that you have written Citiland Apartment Locators on your application. Once the apartment sends us a check, we will send you payment within 24 hours. Be patient, this process can take a while.
